Versatility Ratings Program

These ratings are provided to promote the individual Weimaraners proficiency in a multiple disciplines. The Weimaraner Association of Canada wishes to encourage the versatility of the Weimaraner breed.

This program is open to any member in good standing of the Weimaraner Association of Canada. Applicants must also be in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club. 

  • Twelve (12) versatile points minimum
  • Points must be obtained from at least three (3) of the eight (8) groups
  • Points are not cumulative in any one group (i.e. a UD entitles a dog to six (6) points. The CDX and CD cannot be added. Points are determined from the highest title earned in a particular category)
  • Twenty (20) points minimum
  • Points must be obtained from at least four (4) of the eight (8) groups
  • Points are not cumulative in any one group
  • Twenty-eight (28) points minimum
  • Twenty-eight (28) points or more must be obtained from at least five (5) of the eight (8) groups
  • Points are not cumulative in any one group
  • Thirty-six (36) points minimum
  • Thirty-six (36) points or more must be obtained from at least six (6) of the eight (8) groups
  • Points are not cumulative in any one group

Versatility Ratings Title Application:
DIRECTIONS: Complete all of the information required and return application with the necessary documentation to the address below. A copy of the certificate of completion must verify all titles. Versatility titles are available to Weimaraner Association of Canada Members only, whose dog has met the criteria listed above. Applicants must be in good standing with the CKC.

Other titles achieved by Weimaraners may be reviewed by the board on an ad-hoc basis. If you feel that your Weimaraner has achieved a versatile rating without achieving these specific titles above, please submit documentation and writing to the Board for review. The Board reserves the right to assign a point structure to a specific unlisted title as they see fit. They may also choose to reject a proposal if they feel the title earned does not adequately represent versatility in the breed.
